Service could do more, food is delicious, price acceptable

Good evening I would not recommend the special edition because the waiters are so unfriendly. At the very beginning it was still OK, but it has gotten so bad, you just notice that they don't feel like doing their job. The citizens were also cold and simply applauded and you should pay 11 euros for that, simply outrageous.

So we've just waited 20 minutes in the empty extra sheet. Service staff returned our gaze several times but apparently didn't feel like serving. Well however the 4 of us can drink our money elsewhere.

The pizza was incredibly delicious and the service was very friendly.

The service was very friendly and met every request, the food was great and the price for 7 people was justified. Hence 5 / 5👍

Been there for breakfast buffet last week, on a Thursday. Service, hygiene and selection mega-fair! Everything fresh and prepared for the eye. My wife and I loved it - hats off - delicious. Service also very nice and courteous - gladly again!

Great atmosphere, cozy and inviting. Food is also great, can only recommend it to everyone 👍👍

Hello dear people, I came especially from beautiful Düsseldorf to visit my aunt. Even at the longest counter in the world you are served faster. To put it in a nutshell, a restaurant business in which conditions like this one would not survive a day in the old town.

A very professional and tasty eatery. The staff are always friendly and know their job. So I can only recommend it. !!

Absolute disaster the staff seems very stressed and offered me and my companion a free drink if we left a positive 5 star rating. Totally inappropriate.

I was there for dinner with my family recently and we definitely enjoyed it. We haven't been there for the last time. The service is also great, very professional and nice.

We were there for the first time today and I have to say that it looks very nice there. The stairs with the huge mirror on the wall have something. The food is ok as usual from Extrablatt. However, we had to wait a long time for our drinks.

The Extrablatt in Herford is not only bad from the food, the service is under all pig, friends and acquaintances cannot recommend it the piccoli is 100 times better and more competent ... A question of time before the store ...... opens.

Location, equipment and service TOP. Eaten the first time and served lukewarm fries - not great. The prices deter me from planning another visit here. Price-performance ratio poor!

Service always attentive and friendly. In the meantime mostly quickly, the clear initial difficulties that existed in this point have been overcome. There is one star deduction because the selection of vegetarian dishes is meager and it is difficult to find your way around with five (?) Different menus.

Were there for a cocktail in the evening. The cocktails were ok. The service was a complete disaster. We were constantly being brought things that we hadn't ordered. Despite the fact that we had a reservation, we had to wait 10 minutes until a table was allocated to us. And the place was nowhere near full. The waiter who served us was in a bad mood all evening. He didn't seem to enjoy doing his job. Looking grim was probably his specialty.

In the morning, the buffet is highly recommended, there is a large selection, which is increased again on Sunday. During the day the food is great too. The choice of drinks is huge, but the quality doesn't suffer. In the evenings the restaurant has a special ambience when the music is turned up and you can spend nice evenings like in a big pub. The staff is friendly and courteous. Everything perfect all around.

Service very friendly and attentive, although everything was full. Short waiting times are normal. The food was delicious and the price reasonable, the selection large and with some unusual components. In the vegetable lasagna there is even a calorie specification, I would have liked that for more dishes :) All in all highly recommended.

I am often in the extra sheet and have always been super satisfied! The staff are friendly and always quick. The food is great and even when the house is full, the service staff always have everything in view. When I read the recessions, I don't understand why people complain about long waiting times. I've never had that before. I can particularly recommend the breakfast buffet! It is very varied and always beautifully prepared and decorated. And you can't complain about the price-performance ratio in the extra sheet anyway. I think it's nice that Herford finally has such a great café!

Café Extrablatt is located on Herford’s Alter Markt. It’s part of a chain of restaurants but this is the only one I have visited myself. I found the service generally good and efficient. However, I was not so enamoured with the food. I had their cheese and bacon burger and French fries. The burger I have to say was ok but no more than that and not the best I have had in Herford. It seemed a bit thrown together and the burger itself reminded me of those one might purchase from a supermarket freezer cabinmate. The cheese which I am guessing was Cheder was not melted and was somewhat crumbly however that said it was passable. The biggest disappointment for me was the French fires which were terrible. Now maybe they had an off day, but I have heard from others they were not happy about them either and even complained. My issue with them was they tasted how I would imagine cardboard would taste and they got worse as they cooled. My drink was fine. Since Herford has plenty of choice for restaurants, I doubt I will return to eat there but if I heard they had drastically improved I might be open to give them a second chance.

Well suited place. Lot of choice, dishes, soups (goulash soup very tasty),snacks, cocktails, drinks. Scrambled eggs really good, served with bacon and salad and fresh bread. Interesting design, specious inside, second floor with big windows, bit narrow outside. Reasonable prices. I visited this place every day during my stay in the city. All of waiters speak English and they are very friendly. Moreover, girls working there are really good looking.

Had a surf and turf, was great with sweet fries, amazing.
